ISRO to launch nine
nano n pico satellites from USA. It is implementation of Technological
Sageguard Agreement signed with USA which allows ISRO to launch satellites
containing some USA made parts. Due to sanctions it was not possible for ISRO
to launch any satellite having any USA made parts. Besides ISRO is planning to
sign CSLA Commercial Satellite Launch Agreement, under which ISRO will be able
to launch commercial satellites from USA. As ISRO is trying to get the space
business, it is considered a significant deal which was a severe hurdle to
growing space business in India. Besides NASA n ISRO has signed agreement to
launch NASA ISRO Synthetic Aparture Radar SATellite (NISAR) from India by 2020.
It will be the first SAR satellite in dual frequency.
