Independent legislator.
Ø The first SASTRA-CNR Rao Award for Excellence
in Chemistry and Materials Science will be awarded jointly to Suresh Das,
Director of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National
Institute for Inter-Disciplinary Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram and
Sourav Pal, Director, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune.
