has claimed the attack that killed 28 persons as revenge for the killing of its
leader Hakimullah Mehsud.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has dragged Reliance Infrastructure
to court on the Mumbai Metro fare issue. The MMRDA has said the fare should
have been fixed at between Rs. 9 and Rs. 13 as per a contract signed with
Reliance.

government will build a cultural
centre in Jaffna. A Memorandum of
Understanding signed by Indian High Commissioner Y.K. Sinha and Secretary to
Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Economic Development Nihal Jayathilaka said an
integrated cultural space would come up at a cost of LKR 1.2 billion. Minister
of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa was present on the occasion.
