19 February 2015: D Ramanaidu passes away

• Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written to the Centre asking it to immediately relieve Sanjiv Chaturvedi, who is now deputy secretary at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. 
• In terms of sheer numbers, this is touted to be the biggest military air show hosted by Bengaluru yet. But with no mega military deals in the air, exotic planes grazing the city skies or celebrity presence, Aero India 2015 is yet to find the thrill and pull of its previous episodes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, easily its biggest draw this time, signalled the start of the 10th military and civil air extravaganza at the Air Force Station Yelahanka on Wednesday morning, making a fervent call to all to stop seeing India as the world’s No. 1 military importer. 
• Legendary film producer Daggubati Ramanaidu, who entered the record books for producing maximum number of films in the world died on Wednesday, leaving a void in the Indian film industry. The 78-year-old passed away in Hyderabad after fighting prostate cancer.
