Ø Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to hand over a dossier detailing her
government's evidence of the money trail in the Saradha chit fund scandal when
she meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the UN General
Assembly. Prime Minister Hasina’s government has alleged that the
Saradha group, now under investigation by the CBI, funded attempts to topple
Hasina’s government, and wants to assist Indian investigations.

Ahead of
monetary policy review on September 30, Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram
Rajan, met Finance Secretary Arvind Mayaram. Usually the RBI Governor meets the
Prime Minister and the Finance Minister ahead of policy review. Since Prime
Minister Narendra Modi is in the U.S. and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is
unwell, Dr. Rajan met the Finance Secretary.
